Our Farm

We are a family owned and operated farm located in the Hudson Valley region nestled just outside of the historic village of Warwick NY. The Sweetman’s Farm is one of the few operating dairy farms in the area and has been in business for almost 35 years.

Our farm was the first farm to be preserved in New York State under the statewide farmland protection program. We offer a large selection of farm fresh products which includes grass fed beef, pastured pork, free range eggs and seasonal organic produce. We are able to provide you with the highest quality USDA certified beef and pork – this is because we understand what our animals need to be healthy and happy for good quality meat. Our goal is to keep our customers happy

We believe in a simple business model which allows us the ability to keep our operating expenses low and pass the cost savings on to our customers. At this time we don’t offer shipping options for any of our products.

Our Products

From our farm to your table, we offer a large selection of farm grown all natural beef, pastured pork, free range eggs and organic produce. We take pride in our livestock by raising them without the use of antibiotics or growth hormones.

We employ sustainable farming practices for our crops and animals. It’s our belief that farming is important to our community and environment. We NEVER user chemicals or insecticides on any of our products. We only use the natural fertilizer from our grass-fed cattle as fertilizer. Providing nothing but the healthiest meat and vegetables to our customers is our top priority.

Angus Grass-Fed Beef

Our Angus cattle are born and raised here on our farm and are free to roam our lush green fields eating nothing but grass. We maintain a closed herd to make sure that we raise the healthiest livestock. This simply means we don’t buy or borrow stock which prevents the risk of introducing disease.

With our 35 years of experience we know what cattle need to be healthy. We take special care of our animals to deliver you the best meat possible. Our grass-fed Angus beef is perfectly marbled and tastes amazing.

We selected Angus beef because of several reasons. The Angus cattle are resistant to harsh weather which is perfect during our cold NY winter months. Angus cattle are able to thrive in many conditions with minimum maintenance. This breed of cattle also matures extremely early and have a high carcass yield with nicely marbled meat. This natural marbling provides for a tasty and tender beef.

Heritage Pastured Pork

Our pigs enjoy our pastures eating a variety of things which consist of the following: grass, clover, plant roots, broad leaf plants, and even thistles. We never use antibiotics or growth hormones on our pigs. All of our animals are born and raised on the farm.

We selected Heritage pigs for several reasons. Heritage breeds are better adapted for living in open pastures and are resistant to disease. They are low maintenance and are able to thrive in lower temperatures. Heritage breeds have a higher marbling score which gives it additional flavor and juices.

Organic Farm Produce

While in season, we are one of few places to sell organic 100% non–genetically modified (non-GMO) vegetables at our farms produce stand. What really makes us special and sets us apart from other farms, is that we grow and sell our very own non-GMO sweet corn. Our customers are always telling us how amazing and fresh the produce is. Our stand is open 6 days of the week and we are hand picking our produce daily.

Free Range Eggs

We are eggstatic to offer you our heart healthy free range eggs. Our Rhode Island Red hens are part of our family and enjoy their freedom to roam our farm. Our eggs are all natural and farm fresh ready for you to eat.

We chose the Rhode Island Red hens for their low maintenance and their quality of eggs. This breed can lay from anywhere from 200 – 300 eggs per year.

Jams and Honey

Our jams are homemade at our farm using nothing but organic fruit. The flavor and quality surpasses anything you can buy in the store. Not to mention it doesn’t contain all chemicals and preservatives in the store bought jam.

Our honey is sweet just the way Winnie-the-Pooh would like it. We are happy to offer our customers local pure honey.
